Small Experiments in "Letting Go"

Choose 1

  • Don’t correct someone — even if you could.
  • Let someone else have the final word.
  • Let a small inconvenience go without reacting.
  • Choose not to explain yourself when it isn’t necessary.
  • Write down one worry — then physically cross it out.
  • Replace saying "What if?" with "Even if."
  • Intentionally leave one minor task unfinished without self-criticism.
  • Allow someone to misunderstand you without rushing to fix it.

Small Experiments in "Body-Based Pauses"

Choose 1

  • Take three slow breaths before responding in a tense moment. 
  • Loosen your shoulders and unclench your jaw when you notice tension.
  • Step outside for 2 minutes of fresh air before making a decision.
  • Place your hand over your heart and breathe slowly for 30 seconds.
  • Silence notifications for one focused block of time.
  • Delay checking your phone for 10 minutes.
  • Slow your walking pace for one minute and notice your surroundings.
  • Take one full breath before answering a question.

  • Say: I release this outcome to You. 
  • Say: I choose trust over tension in this moment.
  • When anxiety rises, repeat: Your plans are for hope and a future. 
  • Ask: What would surrender look like in this exact situation?
  • Do one unseen act of kindness.
  • Pray a one-sentence prayer in the middle of stress.
  • Picture placing the situation into God’s hands.
  • Thank God in advance for guidance you cannot yet see.
  • Ask: What is mine to do — and what is God’s to handle?
  • Replace the need to win with the desire to wal
